Landgasthof Hotel-Restaurant Weisses Kreuz

In September 2001, the dedicated hosts Paul & Rita Neuenschwander acquired the “Landgasthof Weisses Kreuz” in Breitenbach, and led the traditional house at the new roundabout to a social meeting center of the region Thierstein.

We are particularly proud of the entrance gate of Jura limestone and the garden tables, which were especially designed in the year 2012. The Mediterranean atmosphere with a noble olive tree and proud palm trees from the Toscana lend holiday feelings!

Paul Neuenschwander-Bieri owner and chef de cuisine, with his long-standing deputy chef Marcus Hänggi, "a creative and innovative kitchen team", conjure up seasonally changing classics from a mix of national and international dishes.

Beginning at the end of September the “Weisse Kreuz” will once again begin the game season with variety-rich game dishes. Every year, the game is always fresh and the game only comes from local hunting! The carefully selected and matching wines form the so-called "cherry on the cake". Speaking of "cherry on the cake"! Dessert lovers can look forward to it, because the seasonal dessert menu offers a lot of different homemade dessert creations, with and without "cherry"!

Rita Neuenschwander-Bieri the good soul of the house and her service team stand daily with much heart blood in the enterprise and leave no guest his wishes open. Lovingly decorated rooms offer guests a quiet and conducive environment for business and private events. From wedding receptions to the General Assembly, to the Senior Dance Party (every 1st Wednesday of the month), you will be competently advised and supported by Rita and her service team.

The “Weisse Kreuz” also has the ideal space for private parties. The "basement party room", in the lower part of the building, can accommodate up to 45 persons for culinary events and can be rented (for self-management) for such events.
